As we continue to question the concept of inclusivity within design, we're thinking about how the built environment is inherently anti-black (as well as ableist and non queer-inclusive). How do we take up room in spaces that were never meant for us? In our next link up, we chat about the use of the Black imagination in art and architecture, public celebrations of Blackness through community-oriented art projects, and how a design ethos grounded in imagination can be a means of liberation. Come join us at HAUSEN on Wednesday, June 22 @ 7 pm.
Libations are provided by our friends over at Ten To One, a Black owned Rum brand! Come early to try one of our curated cocktails for happy hour @ 6pm!
